Theresa Bussert, PsyD, LCSW, CCTP

I am so glad you are here. I know personal growth and change are not always easy, but it is possible. Our lives change constantly in both great ways and challenging ways, and sometimes the way we manage or cope with these challenges actually makes us feel stuck.

We all need support, guidance, and encouragement to make our way in this world. I believe in an integrative and personalized approach to therapy for each of my clients. Everyone has different life experiences.

I am passionate about working with clients from a wide variety of life stages, experiences, backgrounds, and cultures. My specializations include eating disorders, body dissatisfaction, anxiety depression and grief/loss, and related difficulties. From an early age, I had a strong desire to create hope and healing. I have worked in various settings and utilized mindfulness-based approaches with clients in developing practical strategies unique to the individual own strengths. I am committed to providing a warm, nurturing, supportive, nonjudgmental environment to help adolescents and adults on their journey to health. My approach is to draw from various therapies to foster learning, healing, and change. I work with clients who are struggling with life’s challenges, looking for help in coping with a recent change, or suffer from depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and/or grief and loss.
